At 3am last Saturday Morning a house in Rydens Avenue was burgled. The owner, who had recently moved into the area had been working late at home and had gone to bed when the
burglars struck.
According to the police, the burglars must have got into the back garden via the side gate and broke in through the French windows stealing a laptop, jewellery and cash all while the family were sleeping upstairs.
The police said the criminals walk around late at night looking for easy opportunities to break into unsuspecting homes.
The unlucky householder who has been quite shaken by the
incident said
“We don’t feel the same about the house, its almost as if someone is watching us. It will be some time before we feel completely comfotable in our own home again”.
